Herniated Disc Treatment with Spinal Decompression

DRXC San Francisco Spinal Decompression Doctor Comments:

We have been providing treatment for herniated discs in San Francisco for almost 20 years now at Executive Express Chiropractic (formerly Front Street Chiropractic).

About 6 years ago we began to incorporate Spinal Decompression into our herniated disc treatment protocols. First it was lumbar decompression with the DRX9000. Then cervical decompression with the DRX9000c. The results have been outstanding.

Spinal decompression machines are designed and built to treat cervical and lumbar disc herniations and related neurovascular compression syndromes without drugs or surgery. Here is a list of the conditions that spinal decompression can help:

  • Lumbar disc herniations
  • Cervical disc herniations
  • Cervical disc bulges & Lumbar disc bulges
  • Foraminal stenosis
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Disc degeneration
  • Facet syndrome

I like to think of nonsurgical spinal decompression with the DRX9000 or DRX9000c (or many of the other fine decompression systems on the market) as a respirator for the spinal discs. The action of spinal decompression on an injured disc, helps the disc to function they way it would if it were healthy…which helps to make it healthy…to the extent this is possible. There are limitations of matter.

But now I know…hundreds of successfully treated disc patients later…that the body can do amazing things if given the chance. And spinal decompression gives the herniated disc a chance. A chance to repair itself…a chance to give back lost life.

Can spinal decompression help you? Maybe. The only way to find out for sure is to saddle-up and go through the entire decompression protocol, which can take 6-10 weeks.

You have to qualify medically though. Not all patients with a herniated disc qualify.

For instance, if you have surgical spinal fusion or any hardware in the spine you are disqualified from treatment. Or if you have an unstable spondylolisthesis…or a severe scolisosis.

The best thing to do is to find a spinal decompression doctor near you and find out if disc decompression makes sense for your condition.

Thanks for the tip about water Dr. Shoshany, I can see how that would help the process. I am in the process of getting qualified at our local chiropractor here in Kansas, just waiting on some x-rays to come back before we can start.

Thanks for this, I have a lumbar disk bulge and my current chiropractor is saying the only think aside from adjustments weekly is surgery, I think it is time to find another doctor before I let this one cut me open!

Surgery should be a last resort for a disc herniation. You should consider spinal disc decompression with the DRX9000. You can visit our spinal decompression clinic in San Francisco or I can refer you to someone in your area.

We have our San Francisco Spinal Decompression patients drink half their body weight in ounces of water per day. So…a 200 lb male would drink 100 oz of water per day to help flush out the waste products during decompression therapy.

None of the offices in my area offer this as a treatment, but I do think it would help, I have been refusing to get the surgery ever since I started reading all the information about this machine- I just need to find a office that offers it within a reasonable distance. Maybe I just need to take a 7 week vacation to California!

This sounds perfect for my boyfriend, Sam, he has been dealing with a herniated lumbar disk for years now, is it still able to help if the disk has been herniated for several years before you start treatment?

The DRX9000 is an amazing machine, I had my full course (took 10 weeks for me) about 6 month ago and it is still helping, I kept expecting the pain to come back but it never did, I would recommend this spinal decompression treatment to anyone!

As far as the cost- I was able to take out a small loan from my bank to help pay for it, and it was worth the investment as I am back to working full time where before I could barely handle part time work.

Our San Francisco Spinal Decompression programs have zero interest financing available. It’s usually not finances that prevents a patient from starting disc decompression on the DRX9000.
